ANA Mileage Club
Estimated value: 1.4¢ per miles
ANA Mileage Club is ANA's airline loyalty program for earning and redeeming miles on ANA and participating partners. It is most useful for travelers who can use ANA or Star Alliance award availability and are comfortable checking current airline-specific award terms before moving transferable points. The program supports ANA domestic and international awards, partner awards, upgrades, and selected non-flight uses. The program's important tradeoff is a fixed expiry rule. Regular miles are valid only through the end of the 36th month after the month in which the qualifying service or product was used; normal earning or redeeming activity does not reset that clock. ANA Diamond Service members and certain Million Miler members have different expiry treatment, but ordinary members should plan around the fixed date. Award rules changed materially in 2025. ANA introduced one-way international and partner awards for reservations and tickets issued on or after June 24, 2025, and stopped issuing new Star Alliance Round-the-World awards on that date. Use ANA's current award pages for prices, routing rules, and availability rather than relying on older round-trip-only guidance.

- The U.S. ANA Mileage Club page lists American Express as an eligible mileage-earning path for cards issued in the United States. Confirm the issuer's current transfer screen, timing, and minimum before initiating any transfer. - Card Curator has no verified outbound transfer path from ANA Mileage Club to maintain in this update. Do not assume ANA miles can be moved back into a flexible bank currency. - Transfer only after confirming the intended ANA or partner award is available and bookable under the current rules. Award inventory is limited and transfer reversals generally are not available. - Avoid creating a speculative ANA balance. Normal miles have a fixed 36-month validity period, and ordinary account activity does not extend it. - Treat a transfer as a trip-specific decision, especially when a different flexible program can access the same partner itinerary with easier cancellation or expiry terms.
- Check ANA's live ANA International Flight Awards and Partner Flight Awards pages before searching, because mileage requirements, seasons, cabins, and routing terms can change. - One-way ANA international and partner awards are available for reservations and tickets issued on or after June 24, 2025. Older round-trip-only advice is no longer a complete description of the program. - Confirm award space before transferring bank points. ANA states that award seats are limited, and partner availability can differ from what appears in another loyalty program. - Compare the total miles, taxes, carrier-imposed charges, and cancellation terms with cash and alternative programs; a lower mileage total is not automatically the better booking. - For eligible unused international and partner awards booked under the current rules, ANA allows online refunds before the first flight with a 3,000-yen-equivalent cancellation fee. Recheck the itinerary-specific rule before ticketing.
- Add the ANA Mileage Club number at booking for eligible ANA and partner flights, and verify that the purchased fare class earns miles before travel. ANA calculates flight accrual under its published mileage rules. - ANA lists ANA domestic and international flights, partner airlines, hotels, shops, and participating program partners as earning routes. Keep the original ticket and boarding documentation if a credit is missing. - The U.S. program page also lists American Express as an eligible earning source for U.S.-issued cards. Check the live issuer and ANA terms before depending on a conversion rate or transfer time. - Card Curator currently has no active linked credit card record for ANA Mileage Club, so this context intentionally does not recommend a card-specific category stack. - Track every mileage bucket's expiry. Earning another batch of miles does not renew previously earned regular miles, so use older miles first when practical.
